Scientists in School is Canada’s leading science outreach charity. Our goal is to get kids excited about science by offering engaging, hands-on science workshops to children ages 4 to 13. We are looking for energetic and engaging presenters with a science background to lead these workshops.
Scientists in School is Canada’s leading science outreach charity. Our goal is to get kids excited about science by offering engaging, hands-on science workshops to kids from 4-12 years old at summer camps, day cares, summer schools, community centers, birthday parties, Guiding and Scouting Groups. We are looking for energetic and engaging presenters with a science background to lead these workshops.
We are seeking community-minded individuals with broad senior-level leadership and board experience who can help guide and support the continued evolution of our organization to higher impact.
Specific backgrounds of interest/expertise include: prior experience and/or leadership in non-profit board governance; fund development experience and an ability to help open doors to new partners and funds. Senior leader experience in any these areas would be an asset: human resources, governance, government relations, elementary school education, or risk management.
